RAMBI: the index of articles on Jewish studies RAMBI - The Index of Articles on Jewish Studies - is a selective bibliography of articles in the various fields of Jewish studies and in the study of Eretz Israel. Material listed in Rambi is compiled from thousands of periodicals and from collections of articles - in Hebrew, Yiddish, and European languages- mainly from the holdings of the Jewish National and University Library, a world center for research on the Jewish people and Eretz Israel. The main criterion for inclusion in the bibliography is that the article be based on scientific research, or contain important information for such research.

National Center for the Hebrew Language The National Center for the Hebrew Language (NCHL) has positioned itself as the American advocate for the Hebrew language. The NCHL publishes a newsletter, Ivrit Now, and a vocabulary-building supplement, "Today?s Word." It maintains a Web Site, www.ivrit.org and an online discussion group for professionals. The NCHL participates in major meetings of Jewish communal and educational organizations, presents and publishes position papers on Hebrew, and is the founder of the "friend-raising" National Society of Lovers of the Hebrew Language.

Literature Resource Center The Gale Literature Resource Center is an outstanding place to find basic information about an author or a playwright. When you do a search on the author's name, the first tab of results will be a link to a biographical profile of his/her life and works, while the second tab will give links to literary criticism and other articles. Other tabs will lead to additional resources.
