PIO: Periodicals Index Online

Indexes the contents of periodicals in the humanities and social sciences, from their first issues to 1995.  Some records include links to full-text in Periodicals Archive Online. Dates of coverage vary, but some publications go back before the 1900's.

Quarterly Index of African Periodical Literature

An index of over 300 selected periodicals (mostly scholarly) from 29 African countries which are acquired regularly by the U.S. Library of Congress Office in Nairobi, Kenya. Publication began in 1991.
