Anthropological Literature covers articles and essays in anthropology and archaeology from 1000 journals as well as monographs and festschriften. Included are articles, book reviews, reports, essays and obituaries. Dates of coverage: 1984 to present.

ERIC Database
The ERIC database is produced by the U.S. government-sponsored Educational Resources Information Center. It indexes and abstracts articles from over 800 education-related journals and more than 10,000 reports, conference proceedings, and curricular materials. The ERIC database from 1966 through the present is available through Syracuse University.
International Index to Music Periodicals
Alexandria, Va.: Chadwyck-Healey, 1996-. IIMP draws its current content from more than 300 international music periodicals from over 20 countries, and also indexes feature music articles and obituaries appearing in The New York Times and The Washington Post. IIMP covers nearly all aspects of the world of music, from the most scholarly studies to popular music. Every IIMP record in the current file (1996 forward) contains an abstract. There is selective coverage of music periodicals before 1996.
MERB / CMI (Music Education Resource Base including Canadian Music Index)
MERB/CMI is a bibliographic database of more than 31,000 resources in music and music education from 35 Canadian and International journals and other sources covering the period 1956 through the present. The journals are fully indexed by title, author, and subject.
MIDCAT (local online catalog)
The online catalog for information on local book, serial, audio and video recording holdings can be searched by Library of Congress Subject Heading or by keyword.

The most comprehensive index for materials about music. Includes citations for periodical articles, articles in conference proceedings, Festschriften, etc. as well as citations for books. 1949 to current MUSIC REF ML118.M84
RILM - Répertoire international de littérature musicale (International Inventory of Music Literature: RILM Abstracts of Music Literature)
New York: International RILM Center, 1967-1993 (in print), 1969- (online). Index Ref ML1.I83 RILM provides citations and abstracts for books and articles about music. The coverage is international and emphasizes scholarly literature. Although there is some overlap with Music Index and the International Index of Music Periodicals, the duplication between them is not great. The sources complement one another. The Anthropological Index Online
The Anthropological Index Online is an index to current periodicals in the Museum of Mankind Library. It is possible to search by keyword, subject, author, title or journal title in the database the includes entries from the 1960s to the mid-1990s.
