ABSEES

American Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies.  Also includes Eurasian Studies.  Provides information on East-Central Europe and the former Soviet Union. The majority of content originally published in the US and Canada. 1939 - present.

Academic OneFile

Interdisciplinary article index covering all subjects in over 10,000 academic-related journals and magazines (the majority with full-text).  Includes all the content of Expanded Academic Index ASAP.  Coverage: 1980 - present. Indexes leading arts and humanities journals worldwide. Search by cited author, cited work, or topic, 1980 to current.

Early British Periodicals (new database)

British Periodicals, to be published in two parts, offers facsimile page images and searchable full-text for nearly 500 British periodicals published from the 17th through the early 20th centuries.  The library has collection I, which consists of more than 160 journals that comprise the UMI microfilm collection Early British Periodicals.

Early English Books Online (EEBO)

Early English Books Online (EEBO) is a digital library containing about 100,000 of over 125,000 titles listed in Pollard & Redgrave's Short-Title Catalogue (1475-1640) and Wing's Short-Title Catalogue (1641-1700) and their revised editions, as well as the Thomason Tracts (1640-1661) collection and the Early English Books Tract Supplement. Digital images of each page can be searched or downloaded in .PDF format. Major subjects include: English literature, history, philosophy, linguistics, theology, music, fine arts, education, mathematics, and science.

EBSEES (European Bibliography of Slavic and East European Studies)

Covers publications from countries other than the U.S. and Canada. Articles written in the language of the publishing country or of the area studied. 1991 to current.  Also in Print DJK9 A1 E9 (1976 - 1995 only)

Historical Abstracts

Major index to over 2,000 international journals, book reviews, and dissertations on the history of the world, except United States and Canada. Covers topics from 1450 (i.e. the Renaissance) to the present. Indexes publications published from 1955 to current.

Index Islamicus

This database indexes literature related to Islam, the Middle East, the other main Muslim areas of Asia and Africa, plus Muslim minorities elsewhere. Covers publications from 1906 to the present.  Major areas of coverage include archaeology, the arts, economics, education, geography, history, law, literature, philosophy, religion, the sciences, theology, and travel.

JSTOR

Full-text archive of core academic journals, including 74+ in the field of history.  JSTOR never has the the most current articles. Go shortcut = go/jstor

London Times Digital Archive (new subscription)

Access the digital edition of the London Times from 1785 to 1985.  Search by keyword, by words in text, or browse by date and retrieve the full-text as it appeared in the paper.  We are limited to one user at a time so please logout when finished!

Searchable archive of hundreds of digitized journals published in the arts, humanities and social sciences from 1665 - 2000.  Our customized package includes a liberal arts collection and is searchable with the British Periodicals I collection.  Formerly called PCI Full-text.

PIO: Periodicals Index Online

Indexes the contents of periodicals in the humanities and social sciences, from their first issues to 1995.  Some records include links to full-text in Periodicals Archive Online. Dates of coverage vary, but some publications go back before the 1900's.

Project Muse

Full-text of over 100 academic journals in the humanities and social sciences. Coverage begins in 1993 or later, depending on the journal.
