Academic OneFile

Database with approximately 10,000 titles, including all of the 4,000 titles from Expanded Academic ASAP and many additional full-text peer-reviewed journals.  Search results display articles from academic journals first.  Click on the other tabs to see reference articles (including Congressional Research Service Reports), news reports, or to connect to media, such as related podcasts.   Exporting citations to RefWorks.

SocINDEX

Sociology research database encompassing the broad spectrum of sociological study.  It features abstracts for more than 720 "core" coverage journals dating as far back as 1895, data mined from more than 530 "priority" coverage journals as well as from over 2,800 "selective" coverage journals, and extensive indexing for books/monographs, conference papers, and other content sources.

Social Sciences Citation Index

Indexes core scholarly social science journals worldwide. Search by cited authors or works, or search by words in the bibliographic citations. Available on Web of Science for 1985 to current or through Classroom Instruction Program covering 1972 to present. 1966-1991 is in print in Armstrong Library (Bicentennial Hall) Reference H50 S6. LexisNexis Academic Universe

Academic Universe provides access to the full text of national and international newspapers, magazines, wire services, and more. It also includes business, financial, and legal information, including laws, regulations, cases, and EU law. The non-English language news link includes news in French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

LexisNexis Statistical Universe

Statistical Universe locates statistics by subject, includes some full-text. The service allows users to search summaries of statistical publications, then link to the full-text of selected publications on Statistical Universe and government Web sites.

Lexis-Nexis Congressional Universe

Congressional Universe is an online index and abstracting service for Congressional hearings, committee prints, reports and documents, some full-text.
