Farzan Zaheed is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his M.A. in TESOL at Portland State University in 2004. Farzan studies the syntax and semantics of Modern Standard Arabic and Damascene Arabic — especially tense, aspect, and verb morphology.
