Nader Morkus is an instructor of Arabic at the University of South Florida (USF) where he is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Instructional Technology. He earned an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) at the University of Northern Iowa in 2001. He also has a B.A. in English language and literature from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. His current research interests include discourse analysis, intercultural communication between Arabs and Americans, and the use of technology to enhance intercultural communication.
