Robert Wright
Robert Wright earned his bachelor’s degree in linguistics with cognates in child language development and Arabic from Michigan State University. During his tenure at MSU Robert worked with community development programs including Community Rehabilitations Services and the Refugee Development Center in East Lansing. Robert’s research interests include language and gender as community-based practice and politeness practices at a discourse level. During his final semester at MSU he analyzed the progress of the Northern Cities Chain Shift among faculty and students at Michigan State University. In fall 2009 Robert joins the Peace Corps to work in areas including community development, education, and the importance of health and adherence practices in developing nations.
