Alicia Vitti received her D.M.L from Middlebury College in 2006. She holds an M.A. in Romance Languages from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.A. from Salem College. She has taught over the past 10 years at the North Carolina School of the Arts, at Elon University, and at Wake Forest University. She is a certified translator (ATA) and is also collaborating on a multi-media textbook for beginning students of Italian. Her main areas of interest are second language acquisition and the performing arts, particularly dance.
