Allysha Martin began her Spanish studies at the age of five, when her family moved to Puerto Rico. Living there ignited her passion of Hispanic language and culture. However, Ally only began to truly delve into the language at her alma mater, Union University, where she studied TESL emphasizing in Applied Linguistics and Spanish. Her recent accomplishment has been surviving the one-year Masters program in Madrid. After one summer in Middlebury, Ally is returning for another as a bilingual assistant.
