Silvia Amigo Silvestre, from Granada, Spain, studied at the University of Granada where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree of English Philology. She also has an M.A. in Spanish from the University of Oregon, where she taught Spanish language courses as a graduate student. Since Fall 2001 Silvia has been teaching Spanish language courses at different levels at Cornell University. Among her career interests are the creation of materials and the application of technology in second language acquisition.
