Housing
Middlebury's program in China offers students the rare opportunity to share double-room dormitory space with Chinese students. Every student is paired with a student from Zhejiang University of Technology. ZUT students are selected through an application process, and every effort is made to match Middlebury and ZUT students with compatible interests and habits. Students who have participated in CET's roommate programs in other cities agree that it offers amazing opportunities to build lasting friendships and integrate them in campus life.
Home to School in China participants
Students are housed with their roommates in double-occupancy rooms in a dormitory that is not far from the classroom building. The dormitory offers a student lounge, free laundry facilities, a galley kitchen, and staff offices. Meals are not included in the cost of this program. Three meals a day are available in the campus cafeterias at a moderate price. Most students will choose to eat breakfast and lunch in the inexpensive and convenient student cafeteria, and then eat dinner off campus, to enjoy the variety this affords them.
