If the student is unable to finish his or her program abroad, our policy is to refund recoverable costs. It is not possible to recover tuition and fees paid to host institutions. In sites where the room and board is figured into the cost of the program,a partial refund may be possible. If the student is unable to complete the program, the matter of academic credit would need to be examined on an individual basis. Accommodations may be possible in the event that the majority of the program was completed on site and that opportunities for ongoing assessment could be made.
