I have lived in Madrid since I was five, but I was born in Oñate, a little town in Guipúzcoa, in the north of Spain. I like Madrid very much, although I understand some students who feel intimidated by such a busy, always-in-a-hurry city. I started working for Middlebury in Madrid in 1996, and my role has changed a lot. But in general I will help you with almost everything; at least I will listen to you! When I finished my studies I went to England to study English and to Switzerland to study German, then I did my grades in French . So I speak French, German and English but unfortunately for you, I will only speak in Spanish . . . My personal and extracurricular activities are fully occupied by my family. I got married in 1994 and have a son, Jaime, who was born in 1998, my daughter, Lucía, was born in September 2001. Here you can see a picture of the two of them. I like talking very much, and enjoy it when students come to the office during lunch time and we talk about their experiences, fears, trips . . . |
