Personal

I'll tell you about some of my "extra-curricular" activities. In the last several years I've taken up running, specially long distance running. I finished my first marathon in Madrid in 2000 along with a Middlebury grad student.  April 2003 I ran on my third marathon, again in Madrid, finishing in just under 5 hours. Spring of 2005 I ran two half marathons, and so on.  I also enjoy hiking and one of my most memorable hiking experiences has been doing the Camino de Santiago - The Way of St. James. Since I didn't have time to do it all in one stretch I did it in bits and pieces, taking up where I had left off the previous time. Here you can find more information about the Camino: http://cvc.cervantes.es/actcult/camino_santiago/
