The mission of Audubon Vermont is to protect birds, other wildlife and their habitat by creating a culture of conservation in collaboration through education, science, and public policy. Our programs are directed at children, adults, and families. Audubon Vermont maintains and operates the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington , Vermont . This 255-acre nature preserve offers 5 miles of trails for visitors to use free of charge 365 days a year. We regularly are in need of community service volunteers to assist with facility and grounds upkeep.
Audubon Vermont has a number of volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. Hardworking members of the community help to keep Audubon Vermont running smoothly. Volunteers do a wide variety of work ranging from leading school groups, to trail maintenance, office administration, or helping us to make our special events a success. Volunteer opportunities change on a regular basis so please call us if you would like to know what we need your help with today.
