ACE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY OF THE WEEK!!
Are you interested in farming and activism? Rural Vermont will be showing a traveling exhibit during December at the Salisbury Library called Rural Vermont's Activist Farmers: Photos and Stories. The opening reception is on Wednesday, December 2 from 6:30-8. We need help getting the word out by hanging up posters around the area and handing out flyers at the Middlebury Winter Farmers' Market on November 21 or 28. We also need someone to help set up the exhibit on the afternoon of December 2, as well as help out at the event. This is a great way to learn more about farm policy in Vermont, the work that Rural Vermont does and the special activist-farmers who are the driving force behind Rural Vermont. For more info, please call Liz at 223-7222 or email
liz@ruralvermont.org.
