The Middlebury Area Land Trust conserves, promotes, and manages land as natural, open, and working landscapes in Addison County. MALT also provides and supportsrecreational, educational, and cultural opportunities for the community.
We are looking for assistance with several projects including:
• Studies of local flora and fauna.
• Help with land conservation and easement monitoring on the 14-mile Trail Around Middlebury (TAM).
• Survey compilation and other office work assistance, including writing newsletter articles, researching funding opportunities, and website updates.
• We also need photography, trail work, GIS mapping, and community outreach activities.
• T3-Tam Team Trek Hike-a-thon on the TAM. The event is held the last Sunday in September. We need assistance with publicity on campus, recruiting student teams to participate in the event, and help on the day of the event.
