The mission of PACT is to bring people together to solve problems and celebrate success. We work to build social capital in Addison County. PACT is a convening organization that helps to get new projects and programs started then spins them off to other organizations.
Our current projects and volunteer opportunities are:
- Video taping regular meetings.
- Producing the PACT interview show.
- Creating short documentaries about county issues.
- Providing translation for farmworkers.
- Assisting during bi-lingual events.
- Working with groups of youth on outdoor activities.
- Helping pre-schoolers with nature based projects.
- Gathering data and helping to create the c ounty report cards.
- We need someone to create and maintain a new website.
- We anticipate needing help with a campaign to eliminate plastic bags from the county.
