The purpose of the Vermont Foodbank is to end hunger in Vermont by ensuring that everyone has access to enough quality food essential to their nutritional health. In past years, we distributed 7,000,000 pounds of food to more than 130,000 Vermonters through our 300 agencies statewide.

We need individuals and groups to sort food, build and fill boxes in the warehouse, and process and package food in our community kitchen. Our hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. We hold Saturday sort-a-thons (call for dates) throughout the year.
