The Willowell Foundation was founded in 2000 to support bringing people together with their natural ecology, and to serve as a resource for students, teachers and community members. By creating connections between arts, education and the environment, we hope to find balance in the intersection of human and natural communities.
Our regular ongoing volunteer opportunities include help with our Walden Community Teaching Garden, PR and fundraising, trail building, and assistance maintaining our website. We have many special events throughout the year, including the Walden Project high school program, plus a number of arts and environmental related events through out the year including poetry readings, Keeping Tracks Wildlife Monitoring programs, and benefit concerts.
