The conventions and summer are now behind us. Election Day is right around the corner. Now that you’re back on campus, are you ready to swing into action for Election 2008?
Then join us for lunch and a conversation with Vermont Secretary of State Deb Markowitz. Secretary Markowitz is the first woman to be elected Secretary of State in Vermont and is currently serving her fifth term in office. She implemented an ambitious election reform agenda that included widespread voter education and outreach programs. She will talk about the upcoming election and how your vote will make a difference. Think your vote doesn’t matter? Think again.
And if you want to register to vote in Vermont, we'll even have the paperwork there for you to do it!
