Visiting artist lectures and a semester long artist-in-residence program create a lively atmosphere within the Studio Art program. The department is committed to bringing artists from around the country and the world to teach and lecture about their work. Students get the opportunity to learn about current artmaking trends while gaining a greater perspective on the art world and potentials for their own art work.
