Below is a selected list of biology programs both abroad and within the U.S. that we either know, or for which we have received significant comments from students who enrolled in them. This list does not include University programs through the Middlebury Schools Abroad, which you should also consider. For programs not on this list you will need to consult with your advisor for recommendations.
Be sure to also consult the information from the Study Abroad Office, and guidelines in the document "Study Abroad in Biology" which is available on the biology department web site or from the department coordinator. The latter contains essential information about courses that can and cannot be taken for major credit, some cautions, and guidelines for choosing courses and programs.(List updated January 2008.)
