Current Research:

I am broadly interested in both how selective pressures have shaped behavioral traits and the underlying physiological mechanisms that lead to individual differences in behavior. The focus of my research is the effects of androgens on adult neurogenesis and spatial cognition.  Current research includes determining the function of adult neurogenesis within the hippocampus and determining the relationship between adult neurogenesis and range size among wild rodents.
