Internships and Volunteeer Opportunities with the Student Conservation Association The Student Conservation Association offers high school and college students, as well as other adults, extraordinary opportunities to serve our nation's most prized public treasures: its natural and cultural resources. With thousands of volunteer and intern positions available throughout the US in a wide variety of conservation disciplines, SCA is sure to have just the right opportunity for you!
From the rugged coastline of Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska, to the grassy wetlands of the Florida Everglades and the bustling halls of the U.S. Interior Department, SCA Interns are actively involved in preserving and protecting our most prized public lands and resources.
All positions are expense-paid and tuition-free. Conservation Interns may serve from three up to twelve months in over 50 disciplines.
Gain new skills and experience with federal resource agencies including the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the U.S. Geological Survey, as well as many state and local agencies and private organizations.

Internship Opportunities at the Audubon Center of the Northern Woods
Paid internships to upper level students of university graduates with degrees in biology, recreation, or related fields. Internships combine combine graduate study in environmental education with a concentration in either environmental education or wildlife and provide opportunities to earn graduate credits from Hamline University free of cost. Interns receive a stipend, room and most meals.
Responsibilities of interns:
Environmental education: environmental and adventure education instruction, program and curriculum development, and assisting with general maintenance of equipment and the Center grounds
Wildlife Internships: environmental and adventure education instruction, daily care of education and rehabilitation animals, maintenance of the wildlife facility and program and curriculum development.
