Associate in Science Instruction -- The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry invites applications for an Associate in Science Instruction position. We are seeking a faculty member committed to teaching an inclusive, diverse student body. Responsibilities include the preparation, teaching, and grading of honors and general laboratory sections, the design and implementation of new laboratory experiments, and involvement with the department’s advanced instrumentation. The position will begin with an initial three-year appointment starting August 2008. Applicants should have a Ph.D. (preferred) or M.S. in chemistry and be committed to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts environment. Review of applications will begin April 1, 2008 and will continue until the position is filled.
