On Friday, February 29, 2008, Department Chair Roger Sandwick and his students, Annie Onishi 09, Anna Gersten 10, Lisa Gretebeck 10, and Caitlin King 10,
gave an encore performance for all the people who couldn't get into the "Mr. Wizard Chemistry Show!"

Caitlin King and her assistants make a genie appear!
Anna Gersten illustrated the properties of super absorbant powder by playing the shell game and making liquid "disappear".
Lisa Gretebeck and her assistants poured a liquid that formed into a solid tower.
Annie Onishi demonstrated how cold liquid nitrogen is.
And Caitlin, Annie and Lisa made ice cream with liquid nitrogen!
Everyone wanted to try some!
Roger and his assistants turned clear liquid to blue liquid by stirring madly.
Caitlin and her assistants experimented with the properties of chicken fat.
Lisa and her assistants performed an experiment on fluorescence.
Thank you Roger and Chemistry & Biochemistry students!
