The Dance Program at Middleburyemphasizes creation and performance of original dance work by students and faculty. Two full-time faculty, an artist-in-residence, a lighting designer and technical director, a music director and accompanists, and adjunct staff for specific techniques comprise our dance staff. Residencies throughout the year by visiting artists further extend educational diversity. Visits by professional choreographers, performers, and teachers from all over the world expand our horizons intellectually, artistically, and culturally.
