A.B., Bennington College, 1970; M.A., Wesleyan (Conn.) University; on the dance faculty at Middlebury College since Fall 1985;

Penny Campbell, co-founder, in 1995, of Work in the Performance of Improvisation, a summer intensive for dancers at Bennington College; co-director and core teacher for Jacob's Pillow's International Improvisation Workshop, 1992-1994; professional specialty: Improvisation as performing art and contemporary training for dance/performance.
