Barbara Ganley majored in Art History at
Williams College
and received her M.A. in literature from
Bread Loaf School of English
. Short story writer, former art gallery director and co-founder of
The New England Young Writers’ Conference
, Barbara is interested in the intersections between forms and genres of writing. She is also an avid student of Irish literature and film, and is exploring innovative uses of computer technology in the writing and liberal arts classroom, particularly blogging and multi-media writing. A member of Writing Program faculty since 1989 and Director of
The Project for Integrated Expression (PIE),
