Environmental Studies Steering Committee
The Environmental Studies Steering Committee is the governing body of the Environmental Studies academic program, and is chaired by the program director. The committee meets once a month during the academic year to consider all matters relating to the ENVS major and minor including core, focus, and cognate requirements for the major, off-campus study for Environmental Studies majors, and course scheduling and staffing.
The Steering Committee also oversees the selection of speakers for the annual Scott A. Margolin '99 Lecture in Environmental Affairs, and selects the winner of the Scott A. Margolin '99 Award, given each year to the senior who best exemplifies the integrated study of the natural and human environments.
