Course Description: This seminar is an interdisciplinary capstone experience for the senior environmental studies majors. Extensive readings, student-led discussions, and collaborative research allow students to explore a current, local or regional, environmental issue. Topics have varied from semester to semester, as the list of past projects below illustrates. This seminar has allowed students to integrate their learning from previous coursework, learn new perspectives from their peers who have selected different foci to study, experience group work, and produce products that have been of use to both the college and local community.
