*Winter Term Projects
Projects during Winter Term are of two kinds, those which extend a fall or spring project into the Winter Term or those which are undertaken and completed solely within Winter Term. If you are applying for a 0507 or 0707 you may request the use of the winter term by circling 0507J or 0707J.

Furthermore, your written proposal must clearly outline why you need the additional time and what aspects of your project you will pursue during this period. It must state very clearly what work you will have completed, and be graded on, by the end of the Winter Term. To receive credit for this work it must be equivalent to a normal Winter Term course. The Winter Term evaluation may be made on the basis of your January work or, in the case of 0507J or 0707J, the evaluation may be postponed until the entire project is complete. This needs to be negotiated with your project advisor and should be stated in your proposal.

If the project will be undertaken and completed solely within Winter Term use the 0607 number. In addition to this application, Winter Term independent project proposals require the submission of another application at the Winter Term office in Old Chapel. See the Winter Term catalogue for further information.
