Standards for Faculty Affiliation

Affiliation must be requested by a faculty member (unless affiliation is stated in one's appointment letter).
An affiliate must offer a course that is part of our program requirements at least once every three years. (This includes courses in the core requirements as well as the elective clusters.)
An affiliate must be willing to advise independent projects in the program when appropriate.
An affiliate will have no increased obligation to participate in reviews of Film & Media Culture faculty though, like any member of the College faculty, they may be requested to do so by the various review committees, such as the COR.
An affiliate would be invited to participate in a planning meeting for the program at least once a year.
