The final project of the Introduction to GIS course (GEOG 0320), taught in the fall of 2006 by William Hegman, called upon students to use many of their newly acquired GIS skills to determine feasible locations for wind turbine construction in southern Vermont.Below are some examples of students' analyses and resulting map compositions.
