Introduction to GIS, Spring 2008
The final project of the Introduction to GIS course (GEOG 0320), taught in the spring of 2008 by Jeff Howarth, called upon students to use many of their newly acquired GIS skills to determine feasible locations for wind turbine construction in northern Vermont.
Below are some examples of students' analyses and resulting map compositions. Click on any of the thumbnail images to see a larger version in a separate window.
These maps were originally printed at 2' x 3' but were reduced for display here, resulting in a loss of resolution.
