Areas of Specialization:
The history of architecture and classical archaeology, and the intersection of these fields. The study and reconstruction of both Greek and Roman structures, as well as museum work and the study of ancient sculpture and vase painting.

Current Research:
Co-director of the Messene Heroon Reconstruction Project that works toward the physical reconstruction of an early Imperial Hero shrine in Messene, Greece. This is an ongoing project with student participation (with the possibility of academic credit.)
