Sum of a Series; Dedicated to all Ma 122 Students: Evaluate the infinite sum
Christian Huygens gave this problem to the young G.W. Leibniz to see if Leibniz had aptitude in mathematics. As calculus students know, Leibniz DID! Incidentally, Huygens was the author of the very first text in probability theory – in 1692.
