Current Research:
My laboratory seeks to understand the gametogenic role of three mutations identified in this screen. In particular, we are interested in the biology of meiosis, chromosome dynamics and DNA damage repair. We use molecular genetics and functional genomics techniques to: genetically and physically map genes associated with gametogenesis, identify and clone candidate genes, and perform structure-function analysis of gametogenic genes.
