Mia Fritze received her BA in Music Education from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where she worked with guest artists such as the Bergen Woodwind Quintet from Norway & trumpet player Jouko Harjanne from Finland. In 2003 she graduated from Northern Illinois University with an MM in Horn Performance where she performed in the Wind Ensemble, Philharmonic, Graduate Brass Quintet, & several chamber groups. She has lived in Vermont for 3 years, performing with the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra, Vermont Wind Ensemble & the Windsong Woodwind Quintet. She is currently the Office Manager for the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association in Colchester
