Paul Cody '78 graduated from Middlebury with a double major in philosophy and psychology. He holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies, where all subjects are taught from a foundation of the integration of Eastern and Western systems of knowledge. Paul is a certified psychologist in New Hampshire and works as a staff psychologist at the University of New Hampshire counseling Center. He also is an adjunct faculty member of the UNH Department of Social Work, where he teaches a graduate course on social work practice with gay, lesbian, and bisexual clients.


Ben Paxton '95, worked with the homeless for several months after graduation before enrolling in the master's program in philosophy at the University of New Mexico (where Rebecca Kukla, his old advisor, is now teaching). He went on to do master's work at the University of Michigan, after which he expected to apply to Ph.D. programs and/or divinity school.
