Middlebury College is a member of the Keck Northeast Astronomy Consortium, a group of eight colleges in the Northeast with strong opportunities for instruction and undergraduate research in astronomy and astrophysics. The consortium's activities include a summer exchange fellowship program and an autumn symposium at which students present papers on their research projects. The 2005 symposium will be held at Middlebury College during the weekend of October 8.
