Prof. Asiedu teaches courses in Intellectual History, Christian Thought, and Social and Political Theory. His area of interest covers a number of fields including Christianity in Late Antiquity, Medieval Intellectual History, Religion and the Colonial Imagination, and Philosophical Hermeneutics. His current research focuses on three areas: Anselm and Medieval Skepticism; Augustine and the medieval and postmodern uses of his thought; and Christianity in the Colonial and Postcolonial Imagination. Prof. Asiedu came to Middlebury in 2005.
