Jule Emerson has been an Artist-in-Residence/Costume Designer/Professor at Middlebury College since 1990. Prior to Middlebury, Jule worked professionally as a costume artist for television, feature films, commercials, and the professional theatre. Favorite professional credits include The Wonder Years, Saturday Night Live, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Private Lives for the California Repertory Theatre, and The Importance of Being Earnest at the Olney Theatre Center (1998 Helen Hayes award nominee for Outstanding Costume Design). Recipient of the J.S. Seidman Award; MFA: NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.
