Research Interests

My research interests combine the studies of social identity and gender issues. Currently, I am studying how peoples’ ideas of gender as being biologically or socially driven influence their use of gender stereotypes, both in describing themselves and describing the world around them. I am also studying the link between gender stereotypes and workplace discrimination against expectant mothers, and I have been collaborating on a project comparing the different types of regrets men and women have about romantic relationships.
