$1.25 per wash
$.50 per 23 minutes of drying time
$1.00 per 46 minutes of drying time (recommended drying time for a normal load)
Cards
Smart chip cards (rechargeable) cost $2.00. Card purchase is $5.00 with $3.00 laundry value. Card charge is on initial card purchase; unless card is lost or damaged you should only have to purchase one card.
Card is rechargeable for an indefinte amount of time.
Add-value machines eject cards after every bill is processed. If you want to add $15 using $5.00 bills, you will have to insert your card three times. Machines cannot process multiple bills inserted in succession.
Add value machines are located in the entrance to Ross Dining Hall, Forest laundry room, Atwater laundry room and McCullough next to the ATM. Cards can also be purchased at the College Store.
Card has a $99.00 stored value limit. As long as there is less than $99.00 you can add value as long as you don't exceed $99.00. If you have $89.00 in value and try to add $20.00 the machine will reject your transaction.
Repairs/Issues
Problems with Washers, dryers, card value machines and cards should be reported directly to Mac-Gray at 1-800-Mac Gray (1-800-622-4729).
