Midd News - February 2008
A monthly update of news and events from Middlebury College
Search Continues
The search continues for Nicholas Garza '11, the Middlebury student who has been missing since the night of Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Garza was last seen leaving Stewart Hall, presumably to return to his dorm room in Allen.
The Vermont State Police Search and Rescue Team has completed a thorough search of campus, which has produced no sign of Nick. The College's Office of Facilities Services and Department of Public Safety have done a complete search of buildings and are conducting a second round.
The missing persons investigation is being conducted by the Middlebury Police Department with cooperation from the College's Department of Public Safety. If needed, the Middlebury police will request additional help from the State Police Search and Rescue group to search the campus again after the snow pack melts.
The College has set up a web page for all information related to the search for Nick, including information for parents, news links, past updates about the search and answers to frequently asked questions.
