Investigation Ongoing

Now in its second month, the investigation into the disappearance of Nicholas Garza '11 continues.

The College has set up a Web page for all information related to the search for Nick, including information for parents, news links, past updates about the search and answers to frequently asked questions.

Fee Set

Middlebury announced this week that the College's comprehensive fee for students will be $49,210 for the 2008-2009 academic year, a 4.9 percent increase over this year's fee.

Go Green

Thanks to its plan to be carbon neutral by 2016, Middlebury was recently touted by USA Weekend as one of the leading Green colleges in America.

Inside Account

Alex Rossmiller '04, a fellow at the National Security Network and a former analyst with the Defense Intelligence Agency, returned to campus to talk about the subject of his provocative new book, "Still Broken: A Recruit's Inside Account of Intelligence Failures from Baghdad to the Pentagon."

Middlebury received a sneak peak at a new documentary from an Academy-Award winner, thanks to its alum producer.

Democracy Now

Once a year the Middlebury College Alumni Association invites new members to participate on its board of directors. Voting will begin on April 1 and continue through April 30. You can view the slate of nominees and vote beginning April 1.

Under the Tuscan Sun

From July 5-13 discover the stunning beauty, rich history, and unrivalled artistic and cultural legacies of Tuscany with Italian professor Sandra Carletti. Open to Middlebury alumni and parents, this specially designed Alumni College itinerary features a full program of excursions providing a perfect balance between the world-renowned treasures of Florence and some of Tuscany's lesser-known gems.

On the Road

It's spring break at Middlebury, which is the time of year when athletic teams go on barnstorming tours of sorts. And this year, the quidditch team has joined the fun.
