Produced quarterly, Middlebury Magazine is dedicated to communicating the high level of academic and cultural achievement at Middlebury College; the accomplishments of the alumni; and the current intellectual, cultural, and social life on campus.
Middlebury Magazine is a consistent winner of awards from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) for excellence in design and editorial content. CASE awarded Middlebury Magazine a gold medal for best college and university general interest magazine in 2001 and 2003; a grand gold medal for article of the year in 2001 and a gold medal for article of the year in 2003; the silver medal for excellence in alumni relations and communications in 1996, 1997, 1999, and 2000; and the bronze medal for excellence in alumni relations and communications in 1998.
Middlebury Magazine also received the Communications Arts award of excellence for illustration and editorial in 2000 and a merit award for photography from the Society of Publications Designers in 2003.
Because of its quarterly schedule, the magazine operates on a three-month production timeline. In addition, the magazine maintains an on-line presence that is updated regularly.
